DIY Reusable Menstrual Pad Ornament & Gift
When I give gifts, I like to give something Eco-friendly. Receiving Eco-friendly gifts and winning giveaways online is how I got started with my green habits. In fact, it’s how I started using reusable menstrual pads! So, in the spirit of the upcoming Holidays, I’d like to share this DIY Reusable Menstrual Pad ornament because it’s a great way to gift-green. Post contains affiliate links.
One of the great things about DIY Reusable Menstrual Pad ornaments is that the print the pad has makes the ornament look special. Here you can see two options: One is a synthetic nearly fuzzy minky zebra print pad and the other is a hand-dyed lime fizz bamboo jersey pad. There are many prints and options for ornments, these are just two from Pink Lemonade shop, you can see more here.
- Reusable menstrul pad or pads
- Check out my pad & cup shop-list
- Clear fillable ornaments
- Accent for top of ornament
- I used glitter bells & glitter snowflakes
- can be extra ribbon/bow too!
The ornaments are easy to assemble. Start by tucking one end of the pad deep into the ornament so it touches the globe. Next, fold it over and place the other ornament half on and tape it into place with 2-3 small pieces around the seam.
Next, string your choice of ribbon through the ornament hole and follow with a charm. Then, tie the ribbon together to hang from a tree, tie it in a bow to present in a gift bag or hand to your newest reusable menstrual pad convert. It’s really fun because the pad pattern you choose will make the ornament and the fillable ornament can be reused over and over again.
